LOL....Goofs (or fuckups) from Friday

Friday's "Goofs"

Continuity: The chair that Smokey moves from the yard onto the porch when he and Craig first come outside can clearly be seen sitting on the porch in the opening credits, when no one is up yet.

Continuity: During Craig and Deebo's end fight sequence, Craig hits Deebo with a plank and drops it twice.

Continuity: Length of Smokey's joint as he enters his room.

Continuity: The angle of the sun throughout the film.

Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Craig fights Deebo, Smokey's mouth is mismatched with his words when he is applauding Craig.

Revealing mistakes: When Craig slams the door after his mother won't loan him the money, the set wall visibly shakes.

Crew or equipment visible: When Smokey and Craig are chasing little Chris, there is a shadow on his right hand from the camera.
Continuity: When Craig smokes a joint with Smokey for the first time, Smokey gives the joint back and Craig holds it in his right hand. In the next shot, he's holding it in his left hand.

Crew or equipment visible: When Smokey and Craig are hiding in the back of the pickup truck after the drive-by, the light of the camera is reflected on the van, and in the window of a neighboring house

Factual errors: When Smokey calls Big Worm after getting paged, he uses Craig's phone and dials 9 numbers to make the call - too many digits.

Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Smokey goes back to his house the second time to get to the bathroom, he grabs the doorknob to check if it's locked and you hear the sound of a doorknob turning, but it doesn't match his hand movement.

Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Smokey is spanking the boy who knocks over the trash cans with his belt, he only spanks him a few times yet the sound of the spanks is double the actual amount.

Revealing mistakes: When we first meet Smokey, he climbs into Craig's window, the curtain opens by itself.

Revealing mistakes: When the hit-men are chasing Craig and Smokey, Craig throws his gun up to Smokey, who is on the roof of somebody's garage, and you see Smokey catch the gun that was thrown, then bend down to his right and swap that gun for another one that was already on the roof which is the one that shows a flash when fired.

Revealing mistakes: When Craig is in the toilet with his dad and the camera pans back, you can see the father still has his boxers pulled up while he is on the toilet.

Crew or equipment visible: When Craig has to take the trash out look at the roof of his house there's a person trying to hide from the camera.

Crew or equipment visible: Near the start, when Craig, Dana and Mrs Jones are round the table, when Dana is sorting her stuff out on the table, keep an eye on the bottom left corner of the screen on the floor. In the hallway there is a shadow. This is definitely not Dana's shadow because the shadow does not match her movements.

Continuity: The clothes that Mr. Parker throws out on the lawn change positions from when he first threw them out to when Ezal takes clothes from the pile.

Continuity: When Mr. Parker is seen throwing his wife's clothes on the lawn, he is seen throwing the yellow dress down twice.

Continuity: When Big Worm calls Smokey to the ice cream truck you see Smokey pushing two kids out of the way to get to the truck but when the camera angle changes you now see Smokey pushing more kids before he gets to the truck.

Continuity: When Mr. Parker finds the preacher with his wife, the preacher runs up to his car, takes off his hat, throws it into the car, and then jumps into the car to drive
away. The camera angle changes to a rear view and you now see the preacher driving away with his hat on.

Continuity: When Big Worm first talks to Smokey, he finishes talking and raises the rear of his car twice between shots, before he drives off.

Continuity: When Craig's father calls Craig into his room, he asks Craig to hand him the TV Guide, which is in a different place between shots.

Continuity: When Mr. Parker is shown throwing his wife's clothing on the lawn, you see him pick up a yellow dress and raise it in the air to throw it down, when the camera cuts you see a different garment being thrown down.

Continuity: In the radio that Craig and Smokey have outside is a tape in there but it is gray at first, after Felisha leaves it's white.

Continuity: When Craig's girlfriend comes to see him, she pulls up in her car and the passenger window is closed. When Craig and her walk back to the car from the house, the window is now open.

Revealing mistakes: When Red leaves Craig's house after Deebo takes his chain, you see him running to the car and then you hear his car alarm being de-activated but he doesn't have his keys in his hands, only sunglasses.

Continuity: When Craig's dad is telling him that he has a choice between using a gun or his hands for protection, Craig raises his hands to just below his chin. The camera angle changes twice and you see his hands raised above his chin and then back below his chin.

Continuity: When Deebo is coming on his bike to Craig's house the first time, Craig takes off his watch while Smokey takes off his pager and chain. When Deebo asks, "What you got, Craig?" Craig says, "I'm broke as a joke," while he puts his hands up and the gold watch is on his wrist.

Continuity: When Smokey and Craig are hiding out in Craig's room before the drive-by, it is late into the evening, yet the sun is still visible through Craig's window.

Continuity: In the morning scene when the old ladies come to the house, when the camera is showing their faces, if you look beyond them, you can see what looks to be a large highway with grass on the other side, across from Craig's house. In all other shots during the movie, Craig's house is surrounded by other houses.

Continuity: When Craig asks Joi for money, Joi's arm repeatedly jumps on/off the steering wheel between shots.

Continuity: On Smokey's car at the corner store, you see the license plate "Fck It". However, when Smokey and Craig are chasing Chris down the street, they run by Smokey's car and it doesn't have a front license plate.

Revealing mistakes: When Mr. Jones is talking to Craig, you can clearly see that his underwear waistband is still around his waist while he's supposedly defecating.

Continuity: When mom puts her food in the microwave and turns it on, the clock and timer never light up.

Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Deebo has Craig in a headlock his mother says "Craig get up" but her lips don't move.

Continuity: When Deebo rides up on his bike and both Smokey and Craig are taking off and hiding their things, Smokey is sitting to the left of Craig. When they flash to Deebo and then flash back to them, Smokey is now sitting to the right of Craig.

Continuity: When Craig runs in his room to get his gun, Craig's dad comes through the door... when the camera moves to Craig, you can see his Dad's shadow on the door through the mirror. But when his Dad moves it’s still there.
