'I Am Legend' Prequel In The Works, Will Smith Onboard

Warner Brothers announced today (September 25) that they are currently putting together a prequel to the 2007 blockbuster I Am Legend.

According to Daily Variety, Will Smith will reprise his role as scientist Robert Neville in the prequel.

The prequel will chronicle the final days of humanity in New York before a man-made virus caused a plague that left Smith’s character (Neville) the lone survivor among a mutated mob in the city.

A production date and release date for the prequel was not revealed.

the only thing that sucked was the ending..other than that it was cool.

If 'I Am Legend' was longer it probably would be an alright movie. So maybe a prequel would work.
