broxton reached 101MPH on saturday!!

idk if it was our regular speed gun (for some reason our gun adds 2mph), if it was, then it was only 99mph.

I've heard Vin Scully say a few times that the guns are a few mph than it really is

yeah, idk why they didnt change the gun..maybe some sort of rule that they cant change radar guns mid-season.  i find it funny when a visiting teams broadcaster call the game, and dont know that lil fact, get all excited when brox reaches '100-101'.

i wonder about those things. it seems like when i watch Joba on the Yankees network, he throws like 94-96...then you turn on FOX in like a Red Sox/Yankees series, Joba's "hitting" 99-100. strange... ???

I wouldn't say it's that out of control, usually see a lot in the range of 95-98 which is pretty fuckin fast

just like expected, Broxton is the designated closer now

Saito looked so fuckin terrible and weak against the Cubs that Torre might leave him off the roster for the NLCS

no doubt Joba throws fuckin hard, just on FOX he throws like 5 MPH faster than on the YES Network.
