McCain is arguing against higher taxes, that is, higher taxes for the rich! Whereas, Obama is arguing for no tax increases for anybody, except the rich. Tax the rich you idiots! Your country has the richest uber-rich in the world, you are idiots not to tax the rich at a higher rate and yet tax yourselves!
^So because of Jimmy Carter the USA will never tax the rich again and Obama is doomed to just be another Carter? Maybe you are getting a lil too carried away with that comparison...Anyway its your country, Australia and Europe tax the rich at a higher rate, I don't see what all the confusion is about.

Just because you think it's a great idea, doesn't really make it so. In theory, I definately agree with you, but in reality, it doesn't work. It has been tried and it has failed.

It has been tried and it has failed.Australia and Europe tax their rich at a higher rate, regulate their banks and can afford to provide welfare and it hasn't failed for us, or are we not part of reality and reality just revolves around bungling US presidents?"We have a clear-cut economic strategy to see Australia through these difficult economic times, we intend to prosecute that. You look at the condition of other economies around the world - I believe that we are well-positioned in Australia to see this through.'' -Australian Prime Minister Keven Rudd, 9/9/08.
