Asignments.........
Why should I go through my speach book and copy down the reviews at the end of each chapter? This monotonous exercise only teaches me the writers opinion on what makes a great speach. It's always these basic, politically correct, answers you've heard a thousand times written a different way. I would do it if it meant not passing the class but otherwise I ain't compromising myself.
Studying.......
I usually go through my political science book and write down all the hypocrisy and lopsided nationalism permeating the text. During this process I manage to learn enough to get a good grade on the test.
Test Taking....
On my last political science test I had to write out to the side of about 10 questions.... "Supposedly according to the book" To let the teacher and anyone else concerned, know that I didn't advocate what the test was saying.
********************************
In highschool I used to just go through the motions and try to do whatever would get me a good grade; because of that I usually ended up just falling asleep and never learning anything.
