Kind of, but I'll start some bitching and moaning in hip-hop for sure. A couple of nights ago when I was drinking beer and I came up with a thought that for hip-hop it is best if McCain wins the election. If Obama gets elected then all the politically conscious rappers can't blame their bad feeling on cracker president no more. That would be disastrous for hip-hop. Vote McCain if you wanna hear good hip-hop in future.
shit, if nobody cared about "concious" hip hop durinbg the bush administration, why would anything change if obama losses? the election is a month away, the economy is shit and the real estate market has been in the shitter for over a year now........and no major hip hop artist, aside from nas, has done anything remotely political on their albums as of late.....the kids dont care and wont buy it, so the artists arent gonna go that route cuz it doesnt make sense (or dollaz)....im from the late 80's, early 90's era of hip hop when heads rocked africa medalions and bumped PE and BDP.....it will NEVER, EVER, be like that again.........
