So Battlecat, Fingazz, Fredwreck, Rick Rock, Jelly Roll, LT Hutton, Dj Quik, Soopafly, Daz, Dr Stank, Sean T, E-Swift, Terrace Martin, THX, Damizza, J Wells, Meech Wells, etc etc I could go on for ages lol...I think WC is in good hands as far as producers.
Back to the topic, I have been thinking about this a lot lately...Listen to any classic WC album (I mean Real classics) or say 2pac tracks for example, The production is timeless....like 50 years later you could still bump some old school track and shit be dope! Thats what I think is missing 'cause again for E.G. 2pac tracks are 10 going on 15 years old now, and as I said before they will always be rememberd and bumped! So yeah production wise quality isn't the same as before, but in saying this, I think West Coast has some of the best Producers, that don't get a lot of attention. Battlecat should be up there with your Scott Storches, Dres, , Lil Jons, Timbalands, Neptunes, Swizz Beats (which is rediculous, 'cause Swizz beats has to be one of the shittier know producers around apart from the odd track here and there).

WOKE UP LISTING TO WE CAN FREAK IT- KURUPT, produced by battlecat. How old is that? It sounds better then anything on the radio now, and will still bang years from now, when we've forget this lacc of substance music out now days... I see what your saying, the west does have the talant and producers, to create classics, but WHAT THA FUCC IS GOING ON??lol i dont know why as soon as niggaz get signed out here or get a lil shine they wanna rush out to get one of these big name producers from the east, and make music that doesnt sound authintic, when we got all the producers we need in our own baccyard. I would work with all the ones you listed above, before i worked with a Swizz or a storch and have a better chance at a putting out a classic.
Johnny J, QD3, DJ Pooh & Sir Jinxjohhny j obv cant be, rip my homie, so gutted u have left us. man the west wouldve been alot better if they wer active alot more, im not saying these producers should be used all the time but they are dope producers and they shouldnt be forgotten like most rappers have done.wat u guys think?
Battlecat, Fredwreck, Rick Rock, Jelly Roll, LT Hutton, Dj Quik, Soopafly, Dr Stank, Sean T, E-Swift, THX, Mike Mosley, Ant Banks, Toni Capone, DQ3All these producers arent active anymore as they were. They need to drop ther own albums/mixtapes if rappers aint coming to them.
