I wish the Dodgers don't sign him really.  Too many bandwagon fans hopped on, fuck these motherfuckers.  Dodgers can be competitive without him, they won't be the first team to do well without a superstar the very next season.  Mariners did it with the departures of Randy Johnson, A-Rod, and Griffey.  Twins had a better season with Johan, Indians had a better record after the CC trade.  Rangers had a way better 2004 then 2003 with A-Rod.  I'm not saying that it's a direct result of a superstar leaving, but no need to hit the panic button.

na, if i were the owner, id say 4 is the MAX.

if he wants 6 years at about 20M a year, then id offer:

• 3 years 25M a year
• an option for a fourth year that vests if he hits 30 HR OR drives in 100 runs, for 25M
• $50M in guaranteed sponsorships
• 30% of the profits off those manny wigs

Manny left Boston for money reasons.  He started to throw a fit because the Red Sox were obviously going to pick up his option at the end of the season, and that option will not even be close to the amount of money he can get during the off-season.  The only thing Manny is accomplishing by proclaiming his love for L.A. is that he is driving his price up once he hits the FA market.  If Manny only cares about playing baseball, Boras would NOT be his agent.  You get Boras as an agent because he's the best at getting the most amount of money for you. We'll just see what kind of money teams start throwing at him.  Manny a Dodger is nowhere close to being a lock.
