Honestly, i know alot of you guys are waiting on diff fav rappers, some think Jay Rock can Do Good, Some Say Omar Cruz, Some Say Crooked I, But in Terms of Mainstream, i think Clyde Carson Got the Charisma, Voice, Flow,Catchy Hooks and Lyrics and understanding of What People and Fans want, Plus He has Game and Game has ear for Beats,

There allways gonna be somebody Popping, i think That Clyde Can Do Some Good Ringtone/Digital Downloads and due to Game/West Coast Fanbase, He can Go Gold, which is a very Hard mark Today to Break, I Dont think there will ever Be any Platinum Rappers Anymore, New, Unless YOu Wanna Make something Like T.I, Sing and Release 6 Singles(Dont Forget that T.I is breaking 1 mil, But he had like 6 singles, and they had to Split Swagga Like us with Jay Z)

Clyde Carson, why>? Becoz he is not wasting Time to Cerfity His Street Cred, He is Making Bay Shit, Feel Good Music and he Dont Need to prove shit, he just wants to Make Good Music, We know its Gonna be Some Party Shit but at the same time, he got the flow and Dope Lyrics, and he will have some street shit too.


if Game dnt Fall back and Concentrates 100% on CLyde, They can Do Some Dope Singles and Blow upm Game Knows exactly what fans want in terms of Singles, look at Rappers, around 50 rappers dropped before, and none of them Could Make a sIngle that Would lead them To Gold, David Banners Get Like Me Was like #2 on the Airplay charts and shit Didnt even reach 200 000 in album sales.

Game knows how to make singles that attract Mature audience that goes to Buy CD's. Thou My Life is Reaching 1 million digital downloads, which means that at least 300 000 people could have bouhgt LAX album instead of downloading, but Dude has Passed Gold mark and Doing Good worldwide.


My point is, When Game is off the rap shit, which he will be, there will be nobody on the west, I dont belive Jay or Omar GOt any idea what to do and nobody knows who they are and their singles, UNFORTUNANTLY will fade away, Bishop Lamont is ...............(Dont wanna create this Thread into BEEF arguement),Everybody else has no clue, Crooked I has No Clue What to Do, he cannot make a mainstream single and let a Label Put the album together,


I think Clyde Carson, he is just really chilly and real relaxed,he is a lil bit like Wayne, Wayne dont care for what people say, even thou he does some crazy fake shit, he just concentrates on the Music,he dont jump on the beefs and Tries to Act hard to make Poeple belive he is hard, he just here to get money and Make music.

If CLyde or Game fail to do that, than West Coast has a big Problem on the Mainstream Scene, Its got nobody, Snoop i and Cube, but they are not new and West Coast needs somebody new, Like Game was, Somebody who can really stand the fuck up and Say, This is what it is, This is what we Do on the West Coast, and let mainsteam fans(sales) come to play, becoz at the end of the Day, When you see An ALbum selling 1 million on Soundscan like Doctros advocate Was, You know that 1 million people copped it and They know its West coast and everybody knows its Alive.

The only fear that Clyde and Game should be facing is the fair of Digital Downloads, Like Kardinal official and Many new cats, New Artists dont have core fanbase, and Most poeple who hear a dope Single, they just go and I tune it and not care for the album, thats when U need to make a Catchy record, but it cant be too cheesy, you have to Pick the middle..Most cheesy records these days Get Downloaded, like Dangerous was, and Did you know that Kardinal Official SOld 1 million digita downloads but only 14 000 copies of Album? thats A Huge Loss to the label and odds are that he will not have any more albums comming and be dropped or on the shelf for years

But Clyde is the Only one with Potential, he is Mature, Not Cheesy, Catchy and he got the Business Mind, all we need is a Dope Single From Him and Game, Games Business Mind and Promotion and Lets See what They can Do for the West, But after Tonight, In D Club and all them Records, i can Tell that Music is Gonna be DOpe and Could be a Success.

clyde has the most upside of nay new california artist because of his versatility of doing catchy mainstream appealing hooks.

however, that doesnt mean he will be the only one or atleast one of the rappers to blow up...

i understand why he went with game to an extent.  in the bay area, we dont have record comapnies looking for the next big rap artist...all those labels are looking mainly in LA(for the west coast region). we know that and we push it independent....but for these new rappers out the bay that wanna be more national it is a wise decision to associate yourself with up and coming LA artists.  plus game is the only one from the west who is a major figure in the mainstream...understand, but game is very stupid on developing his artists and his imprint...just because he went plat on his debut album does not make him a fit business man.

i hope i am wrong cause if played right these 2 can be such a force on the mainstream, potential is literally breaking the door down for the entire west coast...Bay area would be a looked at region once again....best case scenerio, 1994 all over again...worst case, still stuck in neutral.

Clyde and Glasses definitely have the best number of singles for "New West" cats...and I think Problem has the strongest one overall in "I'm fucked up" but that's all arguable.

I would not say he's the "only" but he is one of the few that has the appeal to make it.
