Because redistribution of wealth is socialism. Obama can stand on his soapbox all he wants and claim he will lower taxes for 95% of Americans, but I know that is far from the truth. Clinton said he'd lower taxes, but my check stub said otherwise. Plus, Obama would have the senate and the house on his side if he is elected. There is no way he wouldn't try and pull some funny shit.

That's all fine and dandy, but who is Obama to say that redistribution is what is going to work for America? He's no economist. He is looking more and more like Jimmy Carter. Everyone can say what they want about Bush, but Carter is by far the worst president in history.

This is true. If people want to be lazy, they are free to do so, but they shouldn't get my money for being so damn lazy.
However, there is a flip side to the coin. There are those few who are impoverished, yet want to make something out of their lives. To those people who are in need of financial assisstance to help them get out of whatever problems they might be having, I have no problem pitching in a little to help out. We are, after all, the most generous country in the modern world. But there needs to be substantial evidence that these people we are giving money to, as taxpayers, so we know OUR money (not theirs) is going to buy drugs and other bullshit.

That's the dumbest response I've ever heard. You've been watching too many Sarah Palin rallies. Most capitalist countries have similar methods of taxing to Obama's. Obama's policies aren't his blind ideas, he has advisers, PhD's in economy, billionaires like Warren Buffet.

So I guess you would like to just cut off those half a billion lazy African kids who will never find a job. No more aid for the lazy! Listen, people don't choose to be in poverty. Simple statistics says, if you're born poor, you'll stay poor. Their ain't 6 billion jobs in the world. Their ain't 300 million jobs in the US. Some people, no matter how hard they work, don't have jobs! They can't get jobs, because theirs not enough! Obama's plan has nothing to do with taxing you, and giving it to an unemployed person. The plan is, give 95% of everyone a tax cut, and tax the super rich more. You don't make 250,000$ so what the hell do you care. You're wealth isn't being distributed, you're gaining wealth! Like you should, to make up for all the mistakes the rich make, that effect you're life.
The rich are to blame for EVERY problem on this planet today. From poverty, to global warming, to out sourcing of jobs, to the economic crisis. The rich hate you. The rich will fire you to save a nickel. But ohh ohh nooo nooo the poor rich, we can't tax them more! It's socialist! Fuck the rich. The rich are the reason you're not rich. The rich spend billions just to keep you from becoming rich. They don't like you, they don't care about you. They care about one thing, money they don't even need.

And you obviously don't know a damn thing about American history. Didn't we get into this once before? Socialism is a bad thing. There are very few social programs which uphold the status quo. Obama is Jimmy Carter all over again. Overtaxing the rich will only make them take their money out of the market. This is the same market in fear of a depression and job losses after it fell into the toilet. Do we really want the people who you say ruined this country (aside from Warren Buffet apparently ::) ) to take away the only lifeline we have? I'm sure you aren't out there creating jobs for people. We aren't "most capitalist countries", we are America. We need to start doing things that are right for out country instead of what is considered worldly. This isn't a time to be fucking around with how people spend their money. Especially rich people, who spend more money in taxes already than you will see in your life.
If you want an example, look at the oil cartels. They are very rich. We can sit here all day and bitch about how oil prices are too high even after the decrease these past couple of weeks, but they know damn well all they have to do is say the word and America is cut off from it's main source of energy. It's the exact same way with the rich of this country. They hold the power right now because they hold the money that creates capitol for businesses. If the government starts taking away that money so they can give it to a bunch of poor people simply because they are poor, the rich folks are not going to spend a dime.

I don't need "simple statistics" to know that the reason why a lot of people in the ghetto stay in the ghetto. There are plenty of women who pop out baby after baby to keep getting a check from the state, and there are even more men who claim disability or whatever to get on welfare, then they deal drugs and make money TAX FREE. Drive down any street in the ghetto and I guarantee you'll see at least 3 guys standing on every corner and I bet they all have drugs.
That is the reason who "wealth redistribution" doesn't work. Believe me, I want to trust in the inherent good of people, but the fact of the matter is, if you give people an inch, they will take a foot. They'd rather fuck around and see how far they can push the system than actually trying to better themselves and better their community. I'm not a rich sympathizer. I just don't like lazy negroes. It is their fault for being poor...blacks are genetically inclined towards criminal behavior and laziness. There is trillions of dollars in oil and mineral wealth in Africa. You know what happens to it? Most of it is taken by authoritarian governments and used to enrich members of certain groups, the rest is used by tribal warlords to buy weapons so they can keep their countries in poverty until they take power by force. That's the African way. Stop blaming "whitey" for the negro's genetic shortcomings.
