First off alllllllllllllll these threads about the west needs this, that and the other are getting completely out of hand. If ya like the music support it, whether on forums or buying the music or whatever.

Could someone please explain to me what a west coast artist is? Seriously when did we become so critical on the sound of music coming from the west. "Oh dog that drum snare in such and such beat is from the south man, he a sell out." or it sounds too g-funk.

Prayers out to Xzibit for his loss with his son. I hope he does drop some material in the future.

Peeps need to really start checking out Muggs and the whole Soul Assassins camp. They have been doing it for damn near 2 decades.

Chicano rap from the west, is west coast. Next people are going to tell me Chicanos ain't a influence on west coast culture 

Big ups to Raptalk, Dubcnn and all the sites putting up these dope, and free street albums lately. Alot of quality material.

First off I agree.. support the west.  I listen to so many artists from the west, new and old that they are all putting out great music.  And damn the majority of them put their music up here on Dubcnn for us to check out for free so what's everyone got to bitch about.

Damn didn't hear about Xzibit's son.

Definitely down with Chicano rap.  Mr. Kee is one of my favorite Chicano rappers.

And yes big ups to all the dope westcoast websites that are keeping us fans informed on the west and the music and big props for providing a place for these rappers to be heard and get their name out there.  I'm from Alaska so to be honest without this site specifically I wouldn't have heard 80% of these rappers that I've been introduced to on here.

yeah some of the producers from those projects were involved with the product too and i think Indef is better than bishop 
so i can definitely recommend it

Yeah it is different. Indef does not have your typical cadence or rhyme pattern which makes his sound very unique and dope. Mykestro is just straight lyrical heat. Bar 4 bar.
