Felli Fel is the man

DJ Felli Fel is the best thing thats happened to the Westcoast in ages.  We finally have our first real producer since the 1990's.  He is doing it real big for the West and has two hit records coast to coast.  Artists need to get with the script and jump on the bandwagon and work with this guy.  He's the man over at Power106 so an artist that puts a hit out with him will get spins plus people are fiending for his music.  Look at some of his work, that track he did for Baby Bash "It Don't Stop" and the Luniz "Piece of Me."  His latest works "The Finer Things" and "Get Bucc In Here" are huge jams coast to coast.  I bump "The Finer Things" almost daily, I can't get enough of that track.  That beat is one of the best beats I've ever heard.

I want to see Roscoe, Big Eastwood, The Game, Techniec, and Ya Boy collab with him and smash out some hit records for the West. I would like to see an artist have a whole album produced by him -- think about it -- it would be nothing but hits!

Yeah felli is dope.. But most of his shit has had that southern vibe to it.. His recent track's have been kool.. I agree with you "finer thing's" is the shit.. But I dnt think he's gonna have a lot to do with the west.. Back on an upswing Cause he's from atlanta himself.. So he's gonna roll with his southern stuff..

I agree.  His singles, I don't believe, had any Westcoast artists.  Plus, he gave Hot Dollar that one beat and then used it as his single (with Akon, Lil' Jon, etc..).  He could have atleast put Dollar in it too.

I think it's the artists job to knock on his door.  He's got his own gig at Power106, his own album, his own operation.  He don't need to knock on these artists' door, he's a superproducer.  Do you think Pharrell knocks on everyone's door? Kanye? Mannie Fresh?  They got tons of rappers blowin up their phone and asking if they can work with him and work out a deal.  Even Snoop ran down Pharrell and got him to do beats for two of his albums.  Felli's done Westcoast artists like Luniz and Baby Bash.  These guys seem to not have trouble finding him and getting a beat.

Bottom line, the artists aren't taking advantage of their resources.  They should be trying to find out how they can get on his next album and hollering at him for beats.
