I still don't get why so many of you act so funny about the Bishop situation. The bottom line is Game is a fucking talented artist and Bishop Lamont is a talented artist. How can people take such an emotional involvement in the downfall of this man based on actions that the artist you are all so invensted in did when he was in the same spot. Bishop is dissing for attention because his album ain't out? When Game's future at Aftermath was uncertain, he wasn't on the radio talking about Xzibit being the wackest rapper? He didn't say things about JT or some of these artists on his forum? He didn't feud with Budden or Yukmouth? Now, look I don't know which situations have genuine problems behind them and which are "publicity stunts" but I'm not crying about it either. If Game puts out an album, I'll buy it. If Bishop drop an album, I'll buy it. If you thought either one was wack before this, more power to you but it seems like a lot of opinions have been shaped off something that happens all the time. For you not to support somebody because he took his issue with another artist to the radio is lame especially when that artist does it all the time when he has similar issues. I'll admit I may sometimes side with one artist more than the other in a beef based on how I perceive the situation but if both rappers still make great music, I'll still give them that thirteen bucks. I'd rather see Bishop suceed and see more artists on the West get the attention then see him get dropped or put out a brick and see more shitty-ass club songs and AutoTune chorus bullshit. It's like Snoop vs. Crooked I to me. I'd rather they both be huge as artists and do their own things then have one be hot and dictate how everything should be. The less West Coast rappers are bankable, the more we as consumers become slaves to whatever trends the popular ones are riding at the moment. Right now. Bishop and Glasses Malone are really the only two cats from the West who are on the horizon to become superstars. Snoop, Cube, and Game don't really have anybody waiting in the wings that are promoting as their next big star so it's only them. To me, Dr. Dre vs. Eazy-E and 2Pac vs. Biggie would not be as interesting if they were just one-sided. It's the competition aspect. Each side has their fans but they all made hit music. If one dude's on mixtapes and the other is doing albums, it's sort of pointless. The other dude could have the best shit out and the album artist can just become complacent and win by default. I'd rather have Game vs. Bishop blow up into some 50 vs. Kanye shit. I'd rather see young West blood do the mainstream rivalry and both cats blowing up bigger off of it than just having one dude pushing to keep another artist from the spotlight. Game's star ain't gonna stop shining because Bishop comes in, it will just make more people interested in the West again.

Ive asked 5 artists on myspace since posting and only 1 of them knew bishop lamont, that was Tha Realest. The other 4 never heard of him, Cory Gunz, Charle Hamilton, Graph, and Inspektah deck all said no
