i dont like how people consider it "chicano" rap, id juz rather think its juz a westcoast track/artist. unless its in spanish. racism is fading but has a way to go.

i mean obviously theres goood rappers and bad ones. mr. shadow, mr. capone-e, brownside, shaft gangsta click, lighter shade of brown. n all that but like any rapper if u dont have the right delivery, or you sound like a fucking nerd spittin on a beat you shouldnt be rappin.

the stronger the accent and spanish sound the less appealing it seems to be, even with slang hip hop was and is about being creative with the words in the english vocabulary and sometimes or most times its hard for a esl person to pull that off i guess but i have noticed some improvement from what use to get played out here in la. the way they use to sample all those real old oldies, not the soul cuts but the daddy's home type shit and just rap on em use to kill me
