Due to public demand, due to the lack of realism in hip hop today, we bring to you the real story on Pac's early years. This documentary explores the Tupac before all the hype. Most notabley his early years starting in Marin City, California to his first ''real'' record deal in 1990.
Included in this feature, Tupac's very first interview for MTV in 1990 which never got aired, and a previously unreleased interview conducted in 1988 in which Tupac discusses to the local T.V station why ''America eats her own''
Also, all brand new in depth interviews from some of the people who knew Pac before the fame, including members from his first groups, to his first managers and band mates.
See a young Tupac perform his very first concert ever in front of 500 people in Marin City with his crew Strictly Dope, footage from his years in Baltimore when he rapped under the name MC New York, and a few other surprises. This straight to DVD release is a must have item for any music collector. DVD will be available at all retail outlets January 2009.

Also included with this DVD release... a 2 disc soundtrack featuring ''previously unreleased'' recordings from Tupac during his early years, all digitally remastered from the original masters and reels. These tracks will not be remixed, except where noted. Most of the tracks have never been heard or leaked in any way to the mainstream. The recently exploited ''U Don't Want 2 Battle Me'' can now be heard in it's entire with 2, yes I said it, 2 extra never before heard Tupac verses. Tracks from Tupac's time in Baltimore, in which he and his crew ''Born Busy'' written and recorded 4 songs at Starlight Sounds studios after shelling out nearly 500.00$ to do so in 1987. Listen to the much talked about original versions of tracks that appeared on 'The 'Lost Tapes'' back in 2000, these tracks are much rawer and doper than the remixed versions that have been released.
Peep all the tracks Tupac recorded with TC (Two From The Crew) which featured a very young Stretch, to his very first record deal...a 3 song demo that was submitted to Shock G in 1990. Also included in this 2 disc soundtrack a few more additions. For the first time EVER! a banned track titled ''Crooked Cop Killer'' which was set to be released on Tupac debut album ''2pacalypse NOW''. Listen as Tupac fires back at the OPD (Oakland police dept.) raw and uncut, the way Tupac wanted. quoted by Shock G ''It's the Hit Em Up'' to the crooked police officer.
