That team has so much potential. I doubt it will be thise year but in a couple year this team is gunna be a powerhouse. So much young talent and they have one of the best crowds in the nba. I cant stand watchin these games with like half the seats filled, makes the games way less entertaining to watch.

Blazers are definitely one of the best up-and-coming teams...it'll be interesting to see where martell webster fits into the rotation.

^^^Starting SF...Batum or Frye will be squeezed out of the rotation. Hopefully its Frye and Outlaw can get the backup pf minutes. Frye gets on my fuckin nerves. He reminds me of gay ass brian cook when all he does is shoot jumpers. He has a little bit of a post game but he refuses to post up. Anyway Oden is a bust so I dont know what this thread is for. anybody who gets 11 and 10 with 3 blocks in 17 minutes is clearly not an NBA talent.

It seems like a lot of people wouldn't be able to entertain themselves without making a Nik reference in every post..

Congratulations on your NIK reference. I wasn't referencing him. I was making fun of the people who said Oden is a bust in general. I don't remember NIK saying that, but maybe he did...anyway...

Not if you take into consideration Frye's poor play so far this year combined with the fact that Outlaw tends to play his best at PF in the 2nd unit.

I love this team, so many young stars, if they keep this team together and work on their chemistry they are gonna be the powerhouse of the west in a few years.

Why did he only play 17 minutes if he is so good? Can't his body take it? Or is he foul prone? Or even injury prone? Talent alone doesn't do it.

yeah i think everyone knows the blazers are one of the darlings of the nba, but problems could arise in 3-4 years when "big" contracts are required for there top players.

Problems like what? Not being able to afford them? Do you know who owns the Blazers? I don't know could it be, lets say for instance the co founder of Microsoft and the richest owner in all of pro sports? Nah, couldn't be him, what am I thinking?

Don't laugh. It was also the first time for Oden to play in Oregon since a while. Why not showing him off to the fans a little bit more? He never plays a lot, it's not just this game. You also can't tell me you're impressed by his offensive game? Dude has a long way to go before he can be considered an All-Star caliber player. I also think he'll be out for a few weeks soon.
