Well,Dre can afford that.... or by the time Dre feels Detox sounds right Interscope will be bankrupt and have to drop Dre. I believe it's best for both the fans and Dre that he waits until it "sounds right" or scrap it,than give us something neither Dre or the fans will be pleased with.

The big issue comes down to Jimmy wanting to put it out because he needs something that will sell and Detox is guaranteed to do huge numbers. With Dre, he knows that if it sells 8 million copies and it's not up to the expectations of those people then it will damage his legacy.Detox will drop. As Stat, Bruce Williams, and countless other people around Dre have pointed out,Interscope would never allow Dre to just shelf an album that could potentially be their biggest selling album in many years.

Quote from: Dre-Day on November 29, 2008, 01:35:00 AM^ i don't care whether there's some mediocre versions; 1000 something tracks obviously includes a couple of great ones.after all, i already know that Dre's judgement is irrational.Sure there will be some jams there...but I'm afraid the bad ones will do more damage to his legacy than helping desperate fans fiending for "new" Dre beats

I do Fuck Snoop single handily put the nail in the coffin with Ego Trippin´ .... if Detox don't deliver well,Hip Hop is as good as dead So I'm better off with it dying slowly, than a brutal death....

Its Clear that Jimmy Iovine is Done with Dr.Dre & aftermath, its not a priority to him... so he's gonna keep pushing back the release date until DR.Dre will be to old and tired to release rap music, Jimmy Knows that the Hype for Detox is almost gone, so he's playing with it, so instead will will see another Black Eyed Peas album, or another Fergie or another Pop act before Y'all gets to hear a new single from Dr.Dre...
