maybe this will be the cover,.....
this is from his myspace page, although it doesnt say the g-files anywhere on it, so it most porbably isnt.

this pic says the album is coming out in february 2009. geez that sukks. first its october 2008, then its january 2009, and now its february 2009.....
warren  needs to get his shit in order and stop lettin the abum get pushed back, unless he's using that time to make the album have more
tracks on it, rather than 12 tracks . then thats ok. fukk a short album. album should be 18 tracks

thats dope as fukk that he gonna put the twinz on this album.
g-dub & the twinz need to hook up more and make some more gfunk classics like the old days.
fukk all these other backwater ass unknown rappers. all warren need to do is put the twinz all over his record, and it'll be a certified hit record.
i dont understand why he hasnt been fukkin with them more.they were warren's best protege's. all those other artists that he has signed to his label were nothing compared to the twinz. twinz's conversation album was a classic record, and had warren's best production on it that he's ever produced.
that was back in 95, and we aint seen a twinz album since. warren stop sleepin on these cats, and go work on another twinz album with them, with the whole album produced by warren g. 14 years wait is too long.

oy yeh,.... here's another interview with warren g:
http://www.sixshot.com/articles/12573/

& another,.... hiphop ruckus audio interview with warren g:
http://revver.com/video/1217881/hiphopruckuscom-interview-with-warren-g/

here's a supposed album cover of the g-files from the TTL records website:

thats a cool cover. i'm gonna put it in my avatar

i hope this g-files album will be on some more "take a look over your shoulder" style, and maybe possibly a bit like regulate g funk era aswell, and sound nothing like the songs we've already heard from the album like "she's got her own ringtone" & "crush" , lol. those 2 tracks are the most watered down, commercialised piece of shyt tracks that warren has ever done. i really hope the rest of the album doesnt sound like that, coz the title of the album "the g-files" does not match those 2 tracks we heard. dont let us down warren!!

warren said that these days, you can do numbers that the major record labels are doing, on the independant, but it just has to be marketed right.
^going by what warren said, then that means he COULD be trying to make a commercial sounding album on the independant, with the mindset that he can do numbers like the major labels are doing. that worries me a bit in regards to the direction and content of the album.
i hope that crush is the only commercial song on the album, and that the "she's got her own ringtone song" doesnt make the cut.

warren g posts on this forum, but hasnt logged on to visit these forums since June 17, 2003.
here's his user profile:
http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/index.php?action=profile;u=4231

i'm gonna message him on his myspace page, to ask him to come visit the forums, and post a message to the fans, and maybe possibly answer some of their questions.

i think its about time dubcnn done another interview with warren G, and let the fans give their questions to nima so he can ask their questions to warren in the interview

you're right. definately nothing more than 100k.
so my question is why warren gotta make some commercial garbage music if it aint gonna do sustantial numbers....
the album is coming out february 10, 2008 . that is less than 2 months away, and what if any promotion has warren had for the record?
has he had any advertisements of his album in the XXL or source magazines? i dont think so.

warren is better off makin a raw and uncut westcoast gfunk record, with no bubblegum shyt on it, and he will make his core fanbase happy, and he will do 200-250k easy.

warren must think with doing the bubblegum formula on the independant, that he can make big money, but he'll be in for a big shock. that formula only works when its exposed and promoted properly to the mainstream, which this album wont be, coz it costs alot of money to do this, and these indy labels arent prepared to pay for it, and also alot of his core fans might not buy the record because it dont sound like the old warren.

look at daz and kurupt,.... they be releasing their dogg pound lp's on the independant, and keep it westcoast gangsta shyt raw and uncut, and they sell atleast 100k for each dogg pound LP they release.

DPG - dillinger & young gotti - over 100k sold
dillinger & young gotti 2 - the saga continues - over 100k sold
tha dogg pound - cali is active - over 100k sold
tha dogg pound - dogg chit - over 100k sold

and the next dogg pound installment "100 wayz" will do over 100k aswell. i'll put my money on it.

if we go by the songs "she got her own ringtone" & "crush" , then yeh i agree.

put it this way, if that is the case, i will not buy the record, but bootlegg it and upload the album and let everybody download it, coz real gfunk fans shouldnt have to pay for sellout warren g music, and warren shouldnt get any money from these people coz he let them down.

anyways, i hope that is not the case. we'll see

warren needs to come and visit this westcoast forum and get a reality check from the REAL fans, and not groupies who will buy his record regardless if its wack or not.
