their last album is worth checking out. a lot of it was produced by mike elizondo. real clean sounding mixes

no idea, but mike was working with a few rock acts doing production after moving away from dre. i don't really like that kind of stuff too much but the maroon 5 cd he had a big part in was really polished from a production standpoint. i was playing it in my car and the bass was seriously bumping throughout. he deff learned a few things from dre ;]
