You would have people wanting to return albums because a song is not on there. Unless they are pressing up more Deluxe Editions this makes no sense at all.

Tip is killin' em out there. paper trail sold more this week than E 40 sold period. but it all starts wit making good music. 40 sold out musically. he don't even use his slang no more.Did you hear the same album I did? Ball Street Journal is one of his best albums. And TI fucking sucks, every album, terrible. The simple fact is, the majority of music people buy sucks. The majority of people like shitty music. Just look at the sales charts. Kanye? Beyonce? T-Pain? TI? Lil Wayne. These no talent losers sell millions of albums. I don't see how anyone could think 40's new album is him selling out, it's got the same damn features every recent E-40 album has.

Quote from: Lunatic 63 on December 07, 2008, 02:30:34 PM^clearly u haven't heard the TI album "Trap Muzik" - classic hiphop.People say "Get rich or die trying" is classic hiphop, but personally, I can't stand that either. Or Jay-Z or Kanye, or all this other "classic" crap everyone is supposed to like. Even the new Ice Cube was wack. So few artists are actually putting out decent music. And those few artists will never be house hold names. I don't know how people can actually enjoy Lil Wayne's music. I can understand why someone would like Nas or Jay-Z or TI. But the crap these days, that's selling the most, is complete garbage. Back in the day, the albums that sold the most, were the best. How many copies did Doogystyle sell? How many copies did Thriller or Purple Rain sell? Billions of copies. What's the last quality album to sell over a million copies? Dre's 2001?

Now that TI took the stand to let the world know he really a snitch.. will that effect his album sales on the next album...40 is doin cool being its a fucced economy...kanye gonna always do good.. cause the white people love em...lol

LOL. paper trail>>>>>>the ball street journal.

TI promotes himself and his music well, has since his first album. Wayne puts out a ton of material, mixtapes and albums also. Gives his fans what they want and gains new ones. Music game and the hustle game is not much different. These days you have to really hustle to get your product out to the masses. Now there are alot of mindless sheep that do buy whatever everyone else does, but the majority of the artists that do well these days the label and the artist are promoting the fuck out of the product and hustling it.now ain't that some real talk and the business that some ppl just don't see. oh well. +1.Yeah I feel people that don't like a particular artist but again that is subjective and is not a great argument as to why they sell records. Even Plies hustles the fuck out of his music. Has a solid core fanbase and delivers the kind of music they like.and that's why Plies, Ti, Wayne sell - hustle their music.
