News: Dr. Dre Releases New Line Of Cheaper, Portable Headphones

After the success of Dr. Dre's first line of customized headphones, the mega producer and Interscope labelhead Jimmy Iovine are preparing the release of "Beats by Dr. Dre Tour" beginning this month.

Being scheduled as a pre-launch market introduction, the new portable, in-ear headphones will carry many of the same sound features as the original edition but is tuned with enhanced audio clarity and a deep bass punch.

Additional details surounding the headphones include clearer natural vocals, detailed highs and an exclusive In-Ear Noise Isoloation set-up to help reduce external noise. It will also come equipped with five custom-fit eartip sizes.

With limited quantities being released, only select retailers will offer the specialty item including the Apple Store, Amazon.com and beatsbydre.com.

"Beats by Dr. Dre Tour" will be priced for $149.95 and available around mid-December

It's funny, at Best Buy they got this nice booth and table set up for the headphones. People dig the sound and everything and you know that ultimate question comes up. How much are they? LOL! I have only seen one person buy a pair.
