Damn forgot that proof tracks that's a personal favorite.proof had some of the deepest tracks I've ever heard...he also had forgive me,my life,nothing,define my life and dream killa...that whole grown man shit mixtape was good

theres not enough introspective songs in hip-hop

everyone trying to act all macho, pretending theyre something theyre not

how about all the metal/alternative bands who release full albums that deal with torment, pain, lonlieness and depression (ie NIN)

thats way more 'real' than rapping about the 20 cars you DONT have

Actually there is a ton of hip hop that does it.just not most of the mainstream
