This is the method he uses.hire a bunch of musicians and people that can make beats.let them make beats add in the musicians then mixes it together and writes his soley on the credit.and lately he has an extra step.take said production twist and tweak it slightly then sell it to another artist

He said he started off with drums- sometimes they take 2-3 days on mixing them.  then he adds the melody/bass line.  After that then (idk).  But speaking as an artist myself, there isnt a special/specific process to making music.  Do Whatchu' Feel

This is what everybody used to say about Dr. Dre. Daz, Mel-Man, J.Flexx, Scott Storch, Sean Barney, 2Pac, Suge Knight and many others have said this same shit.

the answer is in the music. if dre did nothing then the people who are supposedly doing the music would be doing exactly the same kinda shit without him. scott storch is a great example of a producer who has tried to copy dre's sound from one particular period (he was actually part of it too) but to a good ear you can hear the difference between a dre and a storch production easily. that's not to take anything away from scotty though, he's got some really tight stuff on his own too.

The reason is dre needs a fresh sound so every few years he replaces his crew of musicians and bestmakers.
