I used to own all these cd's... I had a cd rack where I kept all my cases, and they were important to me to check liner notes, track titles, producers, and record labels for all the artists on the album.  I moved all my cd's into those 50 and 100 cd holding things... and then one time when I was moving someone stole all my cd cases because they must have thought the cd's were in there, but they ended up with just the cases.  But more and more every year I miss those cd cases.

is Ride On feat. Kurupt from those years?

Spring 1998 soundtrack for the movie Caught Up starring Wookeem (?) Woodbine (strange movie by the way, I don't reccomend you waste your time watching it), but the soundtrack was dope, and this was the opening joint to the soundtrack and the lead single.  Nice video, too.

The actors name is Bokeem Woodbine. I got that movie, it's called "Caught Up", i like it but it's strange though.
Snoop has a small role in it (he's called Kool Kitty Kat :D) and LL Cool J makes an appearence too.

the movie sucks, and Snoop's part is like 2 minutes

...the best Bokeem Woodbine movie is Jason's Lyric.  It's one of the best movies I've ever seen.

If i remember right it's from 1997, Snoop was still signed to Death Row? Great track, one of my favourite Dogg Pound tracks ever.

Snoop has tons of dope tracks from that era.  Whether good or bad, I dont think anyone has released more music than Snoop.  That track "We Just Wana Party" with Jermaine Dupri is dope as fuck!!

Most of the shit Snoop did during the No Limit era was hot, people just hated on it cuz it wasnt Doggystyle.
Agree for the dopeness of We Just Wanna Party!

However Snoop was still on DR at this time!

MC Ren & Snoop Dogg, Kokane - So Whatcha Want

A minor correction here. So Whatcha Want features Snoop and RBX, not Snoop and Kokane. The track is ok but to me it's most notable for having been the first Snoop/RBX collaboration since 1993.

Nice list.. "Only In California" was definitely a certified banger, I really liked the video as well.

I also thought the lead single off his "Game Is To Be Sold" album "Still A G Thang" was a hott song when it came out.

It's a classic, "Da Game Is To Be Told Not To Be Sold" had some others great songs on it too.

Snoop had a banging ass track from his No Limit days and I think it is around that time frame that Meech Wells did the beat and it sampled a George Clinton One Nation Under A Groove. Can't think of the name of it but it was on a NL compilation.
