i think there's alot of MC's that can take Ice Cube in this day and age but wouldn't due to respect for the man.

That and you never know if his edge has diminished. To the point you absolutely know Cube could not match another rappers diss with a scathing reply. His last 2 albums has shown he still has it. That and his track record on diss tracks is legendary.
