A question about the so called "new west"

First off i wanna say that imo there is no NEW west, it is the same as the old one with like in every genre a new generation carrying on the trend, i think this hatin between the so called new west and old west needs to stop

My 2nd point is how the fuck can people call Crooked I, 40 Glocc, Techniec and Spider Loc "New West Artists". Crooked has been around since the 90's so has Techniec, 40 Glocc had an album out before Game did with dre production and Spider was on records 5,6 years ago maybe even longer , with this considered how the fuck can these be considered new artists
