It's areal joy to watch him work, especially when he's selling. He makes Cena look like a king.

I wish he would join WWE, but he has his reasons for staying at ROH. Though I think the whole Best in the World is too much, it's a great way to catch some self promotion and get people watching.

LOL

i just saw that match after read a story on him on LoP.  pretty good match, for a minute there it looked like cena went stiff (no homo) on him.  was it just me or did cena say "you didnt say you were gonna do that!" after dragon had him in that arm bar @ 57 seconds...after that it looked like cena was pissed.

anyway, kofi kingston > dragon.  but im biased cause i like fast paced/high flying wrestling.

I'd rather him stay at ROH so I can just get tapes of great long matches rather than watch short squash matches of him for free on TV. He'd never get the respect in WWE.

How's Punk doing? I don't really watch anymore. I know they gave him the belt for a bit, but how are his matches compared to his ROH stuff? Do they give him time and let him run the match or are they just run of the hill 15 minute WWE matches?

Seeing Punk is like watching RVD when he tried to go from ECW to WWF.

So he's the most over guy on TV but gets buried week after week? Seriously, the only thing they could have done to make money after the invasion angle was completely botched was push RVD and they didn't even attempt it. I always wondered how he got so over in 2001/2002 but not quite as much in 95 on Raw. I don't remember his 90s stint so much. Was he watering down moves?

The invasion is another story altogether. I didn't think you could ruin a gold mine like that if you tried, but Vince somehow managed to do it. And maybe his best he was the best creative mind in pro wrestling history, but at his worst he gives Jim Herd and WCW Vince Russo a run for their money. Like a quarter back who throws 40 TDs and 40 INTs in the same season.

They don't bury Punk as much as RVD now, but his watered down his moves alot. I think they learned some from RVD, in that once Punk got over huge, they let it ride and even gave him the title, though not a great run but kind of one to settle the crowd. Now his after the IC title, which I think Vince wanted for him, but like Jericho, Punk will be more of a IC champion no matter how many World titles he wins.

Yeah I heard they put the strap on him. I figured it was because they were in steroid trouble again and wanted a thinner guy in the public image. I knew before he signed the Pepsi Plunge was gong to be a move of the past for him. It really is too bad for all these ROH guys that WCW is no more because they would have all had a nice home there right about now. Regardless of how they were pushed or booked they at least would have been making stable money and even if they were getting buried at least we would have had PPV undercards to die for and Nitros would have been great TV in the first hour. I used to watch Nitro over Raw just to see matches like Malenko vs Eddie in that double KO finish they had.
