SoPrupRadio.com: What’s Good, we’re back with Young Lace, what’s been up with you since the last time we interviewed you?

Young Lace: Aw man, everything just seems to keep moving forward on the daily… I got billboards all around the west coast, a single spinning on radio, and actual fans now… I’m blessed man.

SoPrupRadio.com: That’s what’s up, tell us a little about the billboards you got out on the streets and were the local cats can see them.

Young Lace: I got billboards promoting the upcoming project in Feb, and you know just the myspace page / website, etc. But, they are pretty much everywhere in LA… Beverly Center, Hollywood and Highland Center, Baldwin Hills Mall, you can pretty much catch them from Hollywood to the hood…

SoPrupRadio.com: So tell us about the project you got in the works right now

Young Lace: West Up Vol. 2, it’s being mixed, and hosted by Tapemasters Inc, and the Empire… It’s going to have like 5 original joints on there, and of course me doing my thing on the hottest instrumentals out there right now.

SoPrupRadio.com: That’s what’s up, so when can we expect that to drop?

Young Lace: Early Feb, for sure

SoPrupRadio.com: So after West Up Vol.2 what can we expect from you?

Young Lace: A mainstream video, and single… I should have my deal negotiated by then, so… I’m sure everyone will hear about that situation once it’s official.

SoPrupRadio.com: What labels are you in talks with?

Lace: There’s a couple I would rather not mention, but I’ve been in meetings with everyone from Warner Bros, to Jive, all the way to Capitol… So, like I said at this point I’m blessed bro

SoPrupRadio.com: Who have you been working with recently and who are you trying to work with?

Young Lace: Well, I got like 10 new joints with J. Holiday; you know that’s my big brother… I got a joint with T-Pain, that we’re getting all the clearances for, and everything right now… I did some joints with Wiz Khalifa, it’s in my schedule to get in the booth with Dolla, Tyga… I’m just working with everyone man; cause there is a handful of cats I didn’t even mention…

SoPrupRadio.com: Seems like you had a pretty good 08, so what are your plans for the New Year?

Young Lace: Yeah, 08 didn’t go at the pace I wanted it to go… But it ended real solid, and 09 is looking real amazing… My plans for 09 right now, is negotiating this tour and getting everything finalized… I had a second to hit the road this past year with the homies, and it’s time for me to get everything rolling for myself, so that’s #1 right now. But most definitely continuing to work with producers, and continue to crank out these records will always be the main focus

SoPrupRadio.com: That’s west up, you got anything else to say before we wrap this up?

Young Lace: Shout out to all my supporters, and everyone that holds me down… And shout out to SoPrupRadio.com
