Unlike the MLB or NFL. Nobody in Europe or Asia knows anything about those leagues.

well if there voting like this, apparently they dont know much about the NBA either. ;D :P

Asians don't know shit , Europeans only vote for the European players who deserve it (Gasol, Dirk, TP) ... you will find out very very few to none French voting for Johan Petro or Nicolas Batum, Spanish won't vote for Marc Gasol .. The worst thing is that Asians vote for the whole team on which Yao is ...  :-X

CP3 is one of the top 5 players in basketball; what would happen if he didnt get into the All-Star game? :o :grumpy:

Ive never been a big fan of having the fans vote anyways. But be honest, most people vote with a bias. They vote for the players they are fans of first....or that are on their favorite team.  Would you be surprised if NIK voted for the entire Laker starting 5 to go to the All Star game? lol I wouldnt be.  You cant be accepting of that, as long as Asians dont do the same.

Of course every fan (included me) is gonna vote with a bias but there is a limit when it comes to being biased ... I hate Boston with a passion but it did not prevent me to vote for that bitch KG coz he has to be the starting PF ... I try to be the most objective possible , imo 9 out 10 starters are no brainer; whether you like the player or not ... only the PG position in the East is debatable

You're kinda right...my picks were all LA. as long as the dumbass NBA uses this system, ima take advantage of it.

PG Baron Davis
SG Kobe Bryant
SF Lamar Odom
PF Pau Gasol
C Andew Bynum

Lol the coach will take him in, relax... this game is for the fans and for show .. it's not a serious contest amoungst the league's best players who seriously prepare and give their all and shit anyways... you guys put too much meaning to it imo
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

^Not retards... patriotic Chinese people.

It's not THAT crazy, imo. Stern loves how the NBA is global and taking over Asia. Unlike the MLB or NFL. Nobody in Europe or Asia knows anything about those leagues.

I hereby declare the Patriotic Chinese to be a Retard. You don't see us europeans vote for the guy who's representing us in the NBA, I then should vote for either Francisco Elson, Dan Gadzuric or Marcin Gortat....... Although it's a bad comparisation with Yi since there live almost as much people in 1 city in China then in the  whole Netherlands ... Maybe their claustrophobic lifestyle made em ignorant to the players who really deserve to be on the all star list.
