Fact of the matter is:
- Nate Dogg is a certified legend, but it's not like he's been the hook-man-to-go-to for 16 years... He had his time in the limelight, but it's been pretty much over for a couple of years.
- Akon & T-Pain DOES come with the full package, they bring a beat, a hook and a concept, bang you've got a hit, not even comparable to Nate's hook and (maybe) a verse-business

I'm not disputing that Akon and T-Pain are making hits right now; you'll hear them all over the radio and clubs and they get the girls dancing.

The point is though, will their hits stand the test of time? I can listen to an old Nate track right now and be like damn this was so good. I think I might be embarrassed 5 years down the line to admit I vibed to a few Akon/T-Pain tracks in the club.
