lets face it. dude isnt marketable, and he aint dope. he got some mc skills but his style is wack.

dre & aftermath is not serious about trying to promote bishop, coz if they were, then they would get bishop to feature on 50's and em's upcoming albums for more exposure, but ofcourse em and 50 dont want him on their record, coz they dont think he dope.
em and 50 will go and feature artists outside of interscope on their albums, but wont even put an artist from their own label aftermath, on the records which is bishop lamont.

the only time bishop will be featured on an aftermath album is on detox, and the most likelyhood is that this album will not come out, and bishop's album aint gonna come out if detox wont drop .

so that leaves bishop lamont to part ways with aftermath.

he should join crooked I's label, and release his album after crooked I one day finds a distribution deal for his label, and releases his own album first, lol.

Bishop goes the hardest, he'll release an album (to buy) this year or next year.  the game is too perfect right now.  Stop gettin angry that you dont have to buy the album instead of getting free music.  Aftermath is for exposure and optimum results (Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Game).  Artist like Eve, Ortiz, Rakim, Quo, Bishop, & Floetry are there to help Interscope Records write songs and produce music (for all artist on that label, and side deals).  There's alotta back door work goin' on, remember this game is a JOB too.  You think they just sittin' on they ass on these labels.  Get hip to this shit. homey.  They gettin' more money at Aftermath/Interscope then you think.  Everytime you hear/see/read/buy a 50 cent (sample 2seconds or 2minutes) is money comin' in (and if they worked it out in the contracts like I think they usually do, when 50 get money for somethin' Aftermath/Shady related Dre & Jimmy & Em all get money no matter how big or small).  Mixtapes are the songs that people wanna hear nowadays, albums are for promo (that game switched backwards).  The mixtape circuit wasnt poppin like it is now back in 96'.  All people do is download music (free & pay)/And though not everyone has computer though- so thats where cd sales come in.  So in Bishop Lamont and alotta other artist position (crooked i, papoose, max b, etc.), they release it digitally JUST to get the music out there and hope to build enough buzz or help the community by doing public services.  As every MC/artist know - there's more to life than being famous as a rapper (8 times outta 10, glamorizing about killings and so on). 
And last- they track all music that gets downloaded/traded/shared on EVERYTHING (we have the united states FBI- the same corrupt muthafuckaz from 50 years ago, THEY KNOW WATS GOING ON & WHO EXACTLY IS DOING WAT).  The tracks get leaked by the artist and the company.  Get hip!

bishop lamont very much has the possibily to release an album very soon, but not on aftermath.
if he chooses to leave aftermath , he can release an internet download album on his myspace page
