Next up:  Janky Promoters which is Cube's next movie he wrote and it also stars Mike Epps, Terry Crews and Young Jeezy.  This one is rated R so it has potential to be funny.  Here is the synopsis:

"Janky" follows the shenanigans of a pair of shady concert promoters (Cube and Epps), self-described "Modesto's finest," who get in over their heads when they get a shot at booking a big-name hip-hop act. Complications come in the form of a pot-growing neighborhood nemesis named Mondo and Cube's character's son (Nickelodeon star Little JJ), who is under contract with the old man.

great vid, cheers. I just think cube has loosen himself a bit. i always saw him as a rapper well different from everyone since he started the gangsta rap rhyming, one that would be quiet, thinking he is the rapper and no one can touch him etc, i would prefer if he was like that.

The promo was definitely geared toward a larger audience and disappointed me at first but the album is far better than what that indicates.  Anyway, not sure how much money Cube has made from this.  He's only pushed 200k worldwide (LNCL was 700k) and has paid for everything out of pocket.  4 videos, promotion, marketing, production, engineering, etc.  The shit adds up quick.

actually, in the beginning the album was promoted like the Raw Footage title represents the content of the album, but that turned out to be false.
sure it's not a bad album, but only about half of it is what i like to hear.
besides, how much value does the messages Cube has on the album have, when he's contradicting himself in reality?
just listen to Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It and Tomorrow for example, then think of what i just stated 

by the way, 200k is still quite an accomplishment for an indie release, so don't worry about the finances

sure we are all humans, but what Cube did is like fighting for climate change while driving a hummer you know?

anyway, as far as the track examples i provided; both songs have messages that are hypocrite.
on the Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It, he's criticising major labels for putting out generic stuff. well look at his album, do i need to say more?
as far as Tomorrow is concerned; he basically calls downloaders greedy, but when looking at the marketing strategy of Raw Footage, i wonder who's really greedy
