When you remove programs from your computer...

Can you just go into the 'My Computer' folder and delete them manually if they ain't uninstalling on the 'Add and Remove' page? Or will that mess up shit or cause viruses?

If you find the folder where the program is installed there's usually a uninstall icon in it. You only delete the folder once the program is uninstalled.
