Got an unfair late fee on a BS parking ticket...

I got an inaccurately issued ticket for parking at a broken parking meter. I contested the ticket and was denied. So after a couple days, I got a letter saying I was denied my request to contest it. I immediately paid the fine, along with a letter for administrative review. A few weeks later, I get another letter in the mail saying I have a late fee of $50. WTF? The original ticket was only $40.. and I didn't even pay late...maybe they just received the payment late? But regardless, this is ridiculous. Not only was the parking ticket issued in error, now I have a late fee that is inaccurate as well...the Bureau is really tryna get me for my money.


How would you handle this?

talk to them in person and get a reciept, letter sayin they will take care of it, which they should!
