I think it's simple to understand the relationship Dre has with everybody once you understand the structure of the Aftermath camp.  Essentially you've got a middle room where Dre is - he's the boss, everyone comes to him but they don't always work with him.  Next, you've got all the artists and producers that work off in their own little offices with one to several different producers.  While artists have relationships with Dre it's not as big as some claim such as Game - though I believe Eminem's relationship is a case where it's really stable. 

If you peep what Brooklyn says in her interview in 2003, everyone is off doing their own thing and essentially have meetings with the bosses when necessary. 

According to Bishop Lamont's various speaking on Aftermath and interscope, if you ain't always up in the office letting them know you exist then you don't and you have extinction from the camp.

According to Bruce Williams, Bruce Williams Dre's relationship with Game was deteriorated and he was about drop dude until Jimmy offered a solution which involved G-Unit and 50 cent.  Williams essentially claims "Game was a good dude but an average rapper who out of his league."
 
According to Stat Quo, Dre won't cosign you unless you've got support and public appeal because he's concerned with his legacy.  Which happened to Game once 50, who had both, cosigned him under G-Unit. 

If you combine everything together the picture is quite clear.  Game's relationship with Doc Dre isn't as big as he spits.   If anything Game imagined it to be bigger then it really was.  Dre probably cosigned him in private but rarely did it in public.  Once 50 cosigned Game he got his popularity.  Dre started to cosign him until the dissing happened.  Game's action and pressure from the 50 cent (remember 50 threatened to stop working with dude and diss him), labels and outside influences (al sharpton) led Game to being demoted to Geffen - they knew they could milk him for more money hence he wasn't let go of his contract.

You can't believe what most of these rappers are saying.  They're fucking liars for public appeal.  Even the more honest ones like Bishop Lamont you've got to question.  Stat Quo is super honest cause he left the camp/got dropped and is holding feeling against them.  Saigon is another rapper that's pretty honest but reveals his stupidity that way.  50 cent appears to be pretty honest but he be saying wild lies to stir up drama.

That can't be it. If Dre was mad about the dissing then he would've been mad at guys like Yayo and Buck stirring that shit up even more on mixtapes and radio interviews. My guess is Dre was told he wasn't allowed to work with Game anymore. Jimmy makes the decisions around there, and unfortunately for Game, 50 has a lot of pull!

It really comes down to 50 making more money. 50 definitely brought Game into the big spotlight but imo Game's always been a dope artist so I could really care less who's friends with who as long as good music comes out of it.

Nah Buck and yayo aint signed to dre so he could care less, game was signed to dre. They never really made records about game so they did to a certain degree do what 50 and dre said. Dres been in the industry forever he knows how much did for him and the way game went about shit probably left a bad taste in his mouth like everybody other person who has common sense.
