^^^ i wouldnt say that but i wouldnt say he is great either. people are forgetting how young bynum is and how it takes bigger guys longer to adjust to the game, too add to that the guy has just came back from major surgery last year. he is also having to adjust too gasol which is pretty much going to take a whole season.

i mean last nite it was plain to see that howard is on a different level then bynum but the lakers arnt exactley wanting bynum to be a 20-20 guy, they just need solid defence, couple of post moves a game a couple of putbacks and 8+ rebounds.

OK I admit he's better than average but yeah I dont think he's that great all. I understand that Bynum isnt supposed to be a 20-20 guy as thats not his role but I dont think he is that type of talent regardless, I dont think he will ever be a All Star, not even once.

Bynum should average 14pts 11 rbs 2.5blks in this team ... he showed he was easily able to produce these kind of numbers last year... it"s obvious he plays with zero intensity this season ... all he cares about is scoring and getting touches .. BUT Gasol is a much better post player than him in all aspects ... his focus should be on the Defensive end and the coaching staff should be clear .. if you don't hustle , battle on the boards , try to block and alter shots , you won't play

Kobe played great for most of the game; Bynum? His play has been so inconsistent this year. No, the Lakers do not need him to average 20 and 12, but he could do a lot more out there. As of now, dude had about a good 20 game run last year, and other than that he is average, not even on Nene's level right now.

And when are the Lakers going to learn how to close out on shooters? That doesn't take talent, just some hard work.

Magic are starting to win me over, but I think they rely on the three ball too much.

Laker fans can be so fickle...we're still the best team. Bynum is not in his prime right now, you morons. his numbers have been solid as fuck on the season.

13 points, 8 rebound, 1.7 blocks 54% fg in 30 minutes...that's on a team with Gasol and Odom in the post, as well. Stop complaining, the guy is 21.
