Pooh and Cube by this time pretty much had a falling out and LT had always worked close with DPGC so they part of the crew as affiliates IMO.Sam Sneed also, no different if Dr. Dre was involved on it.But my point basically is that when they collaborate together is when they come up with some great music.Pooh and LT ain't affiliated in my book.Sneed came up under Death Row so yes.But if you're trying to say that it sounds like team effort, rather than one of the many albums with hired stars. Then, yes you're right. But it's far from from the first album like this Rap-A-Lot has been doing this since day one on their albums.

Almost all in house production (DPGC members or affiliates), excluding Too Short for the most part all DPGC guest appearances. They kept it all family, that album is the blueprint. Tha Streetz is the only DPGC album that executed that better than the Doggfather.

I guess for me I consider Pooh and LT affiliated because 1. LT said he was, 2. Pooh even said in a interview who was the best artist he liked to work with and he said Snoop. Snoop gave him creative control on the production side and credit along with Daz and they continued to work together after that. Same with Battlecat, he has put in waaaaay more work with DPGC then Pooh but at the very least I consider him a affiliate. One I would definitely want on a Snoop album anytime. Do I rank Pooh and LT more family then say a Fred Wreck or Daz? No.RAL no doubt has been doing it longer and Death Row albums all had this formula. I remember then pretty much all the DPGC members left DR and I said the only way they would survive is if they sticked together. And for the most part my favorite albums from the members that dropped album had a good amount of DPGC fam involved or heavy.
Pooh did beats on the Eastsidaz 2nd album and on Blue Carpet Treatment.
Dogg Food and Doggystyle for the most part yeah but those 2 were more carried by Tha Dogg Pound and Snoop and Dre did most or all of the beats (sorry Daz lol).
Those days of having 1 central producer are gone (even though Fred Wreck said he would love to do a solo album on Snoop). The only thing that came close to those albums, 1 producer, 1 rapper or group was Space Boogie. So for me as far as DPGC albums go they sound better as a collective effort.
-Fred Wreck; No question,he needs to come back
