Eastwoods mixtape will drop before his album so i cant give a definate date until he knows his album situation but it may drop regardless before all that and Crooked should be mid year

Well heres the thing....i personally dont like tags but understand the meaning of them. I would like to think i dont tag the fuck outta my tapes like alot a DJ's do etc BUT the taggin is so its not bootlegged and claimed as another DJ's work cause truss me muthafukaz be doin that shit no lie......................

Now in sayin that man it wouldnt be a MIXTAPE if it wasnt touched and its not an album otherwise the artists wouldnt of wanted a DJ for it!!

So heres my personal definition of the following and how the DJ game has changed...........................

MIXTAPES: Compiled of both new music (most new) with some already leaked tracks (should be mixed, blended etc which alot a so called DJ's aint doin and it sucks)

EG: 'Westcoast Connectz', Bad Lucc's 'Watts Riot' or even Skee's 'Youknowwhatitis' etc- If you scream all over your shit, tag the fuck outta it and aint doin no blends or scratchin etc then take the 'DJ' out ya name and quite the game cause u aint a DJ.

MIX: This is new shit, old shit whatever but a DJ Mix where shit is all mixed, blended, scratchin etc no bullshit im talkin DJ Rectangle style a mixin, which is dying alot and sad cause this is my favourite style and i try and incorporate that style into all my mixes no matter what.

EG: Any DJ Rectangle mixes (if you dont know Rec then u a fool), 'The New West Order' series, Crooked I 'Dynasty Boss' etc

STREET ALBUM: This is what i think you want. Untagged, no DJ's but just all new/leaked tracks put on a CD plain and simple. Not good enough for an album but too good for a wack DJ to ruin with screamin etc

EG: Bishop Lamont 'The Confessional' - one of my favourites a all time

Thats my opinion on how shit is these days but it is what it is and the game had DJ's from day 1 and they play an important role with artists and exposure etc u feel what im saying? I hope i helped you with the whole DJ/Mixtape shit you got going on AND YES DJ DRAMA is a perfect example of a DJ who ruins the fuck outta any music he touches but good luck to him man he eats off that shit so thats his bread right there i cant hate on him personally but his work as a DJ is another thing.

See, I like a DJ who knows his craft inside and out and even dabbles in the production game a little bit. UNDERSTANDS blending and all that. I hate the DJs that turn their mic up ALL the way and just talk on a record. I mean if you have to tag something, make it part of the track, place it properly, make it sound like it was meant to be in the track, feel me?

BTW: Props for recognizing Rectangle, I always loved dudes tapes.

you gon always be my latin queen bitch

I agree with you 100% & I'm not hating on you. You know, if there will be new exclusive joints on those (particular) mixtapes, I prefer to get them in the way they're sent to you. If you listen to a properly mixed mixtape as a whole it isn't all that bad, but if you listen to the songs separately I think you agree with me you don't want to hear scratching or pieces from other songs in the mp3.

That joint from XL Middleton "We're Fucked Anyway" from your last mixtape is a good example. The first few seconds of the mp3 are blended and it cuts off at the end.
