I had mentioned in another thread that I had quite a bit of Death Row/Westcoast promos and rarities and a few people wanted to see exactly what I had.  I took some pics and made a list of most of what I had.  These aren't really 'for sale' as such, but if the right offer came along, i'd part with some of it.  I don't have anything super rare or unheard of, I'm just more interested in showing people what I have.  As I said in my other post, I collect Pac-Man stuff too, so if someone has some Pac-Man stuff from the 80's, I might trade some of these for it depending on what it is (I probably won't part with the 2Pac or Soopafly stuff).  I linked it to my photobucket album so I don't clutter up the post with 23 pics, but here's a description of what's in each pic, enjoy:

I hear you....sometimes I wonder why I hang on to the stuff, most of it just sits in storage, and you wonder in 50 years, if anyone is going to remember Death Row or The Twinz, etc.  But when I get it all out and look at it, it brings back a lot of memories and stuff and some of the stuff i've never seen anywhere, so that makes it hard to want to part with it.  Especially the singles, they have a lot of cool artwork and stuff that you can't see anywhere else.  It's one thing to have the tracks and remixes and stuff on your computer, but to have the actual single with the artwork and everything, that's what it is all about.

I've been following rap since about '94, so most of that stuff I got when it first came out, so it only cost me a couple bucks at the store for the singles and stuff.  A lot of the promos I got from record store's discount bins and stuff back in the day, like 94-95, when no one cared about 2Pac (before he got shot).  And no one around here had ever heard of DJ Quik, Twinz, Dove Shack and people like that, so I was just scooping the stuff up every time I saw it.  I always bought cassettes cause I didn't have a CD player back then lol, plus Death Row usually had bonus songs on cassettes. 

Some of the stuff I did buy on ebay, like the Dogg House and some 2Pac singles, but overall, most of the stuff I bought right off the store shelves back in the day.

I've got some posters and T-Shirts also, but i didn't feel like digging them all out.  Thing was, I was actually buying the stuff to listen to it all, I wasn't buying it thinking it'd be collectable someday.  Like if you wanted to listen to the "Holler If You Hear Me" Remix, there was no internet or anything to get the song, you had to go buy the single.

flex was also released on the holler if you hear me tape, and on the i get around german cd single. pretty rare item, props on that one. if i had more money atm i'd offer you some..but pretty much broke.
