DJ Quik on 93.5 (Los Angeles) last night...BLAQOUT ALBUM

Did anybody hear the Goodfellas show last night.......if you did then you got treated to a preview of the upcoming DJ Quik/Kurupt collabo Blaqout!

Quik was on air promoting his monthly shows happening at the Key Club then played a song from the Blaqout album.  I wish I had a link or tape rip, i've looked all over the internet but I don't find anything.  I f I do best believe I'll post it.  Song was called "What U Really Wanna Do", but sort of in the same vein as Truth Hurts "So Addictive" but with more tribal sounding drums and less Indian-sounding.  Sounds like something that would hit hard on a good system.  Half hour later played a second song from the album, more of a traditional Quik beat with that mid-tempo boom bap with a vocal sample layered underneath. Both songs were bangers and no doubt make this the West Coast album to look forward to, at least until we start hearing more from that other album that rhymes with "Wee-blox".  I feel bad posting with nothing for you all to hear, but I know somebody else musta heard the show last night!

Damm, I didn't even know 93.5 did anything aimed toward L.A. anymore...all they play is syndicated shows all day.

I am considerin hittin the show on Saturday. I am anxious to hear that track though!
