Got to totally disagree. YES, Crooked had a mean flow back in the day and dropped some sick tracks, but his catalog was very limited back then. He has way more bangers post-Death Row, than he did back in the day. Not to mention, aside from songs like "Nobody Understands Me", "Livin' In The Hood", "Girl", etc... He was very limited with the subject matter back then. It was mainly "I'm a gangster" on every single track. Which is fine and good, but I have heard him spit so many more topics in the last few years. He's a lot more well-rounded now.

I wouldn't say he's fallen off at all. I would say that he's toned it down a tad to appeal more to the mainstream, and to his credit its work. He's just now starting to be recognized on each coast, which is what he and every other emcee wants.
