which catch was bigger/better?

either one is dropped, neither team wins (well maybe not Pitt.).

but i think id give it to Holmes; if he dropped that ball they would have booed him from now until he retired.

if Tyree dropped it; Giants fans wouldnt have probably even noticed, due to the difficulty.

but what yall think?

Tyree. Did more for Eli's image then Tyree's that catch and Super Bowl win. Same will be said for Holmes. Roth will get most of the publicity for the drive.

Tyree's catch was INCREDIBLE, so I'd choose him over Holmes. what was even more incredible was Eli avoiding that sack as well.

i think you guys need to watch the replay again lol.

triple teamed in the corner; i mean Ben made the perfect throw, but Holmes controlled his body, kept the feet in & made the game winning catch in the Super Bowl.

Tyree, EASILY. That was fucking crazy. Holmes catch was cool, but NONE of those 3 defenders was playing really good defense. Wasn't up on him enough.

i dunno, eli did an amazing job in the tyree, holmes gets mad brownie points for the toe tap, but if he had not caught it, i still think they would have won on another play

just saw the celebration he did after the TD (missed it yesterday i guess, with all the excitement).

thats bullshit! thats a fucking 15 yard penalty not called, no matter the situation.

they called that weak ass "Roughing the Passer" when Ben just launched that shit out of bounds.

not cool! :grumpy:

but doesnt take away from the catch, better than Tyree imo.

lol no doubt it was awesome, LeBron TD dances all day! 8)

but the rules clearly state you cant use the ball as a prop for a TD celebration, so he should have gotten nailed for that imo.
