the truth is that there are lot a kobe/lakers fans and then there are the ppl that just want to diss kobe. its just a big cycle of them going at eachother and it is fuckin annoying(yes i know im apart of it i kno).

what youve got to understand, is that most of the people on here who diss the Lakers....probably never even think of the Lakers or Kobe, other then when they come on here. They see all the Kobe dicksucking that goes on in the "Sports" section, and it gets annoying.  Laker fans, for whatever reason, seem to think people walk around all day thinking about them, when in reality...they are irrelevent to us or any other fans of other teams.  They are just another team. Fans of other NBA teams dont look up to the Lakers....or the Celtics (who are the better franchise historically).  Its always just kind of funny to listen to some of the shit that is posted on here lol.  If a person was to a judge a teams fans, based on what they read here, they would assume that Laker fans are probably the most ridiculous fans in the league. Claiming to be the best franchise of all time, when theyre not. Claiming to be the team to beat, when theyre not. Claiming that Kobe is better then MJ, when he's not. Its all fuckin comedy...lol

and all those things you just mentioned are debated, you fucking moron. whether we're the team to beat is debated. whether were the best franchise is debated. whether kobe has surpassed jordan in terms of skill is debated. you are the only jackass who can't really see that.

claiming 14>17.....claiming 3>4.....those are debateable as well...

Constantly making claims that your team is the greatest, that your favorite player is the greatest, and ignoring all reality shows a real lack of confidence on his part.  Sad, but true.

i really love lebron. he is next in line, and in many ways he's on kobe's level. however, he doesn't have that assassin mentality. he doesn't have that cold as ice shooters mentality. he's a beast but, the ONE thing separating him from kobe, is in the clutch.  yeah he beat golden state with a winning shot the other night, but go back 5 years and kobe had about as many game winners that year as lebron does his whole career.
like i said i love lebron, but kobe will probably raise his game until he can't physically do it anymore.

the tipping point i think came when lebron made the finals....many critics, including me were ready to hand the crown over to lebron because of his leadership. every one knows how critical i am of kobe, but i think kobe took the crown back, melted it, and remade it after last year and this year, and definitely in the Olympics.

none of that matters though. You are comparing two completely different players.  You could look back at Magic and say he didnt have that ASSASSIN mentality. But who cares, he was great at what HE did which was make his team, and his teamates better. Kobe right now, is more clutch as a jump shooter then Lebron, for sure. But Lebron is the best in the league right now at getting to the rim. Thats his game. That and getting others involved.  Taking jump shots are not the strength of his game, so him taking the buzzer beater fadeaway jumper to win a game wouldnt be the smartest play for his TEAM to win.

Both are phenomenal  but they are different type of players ... Kobe has the whole package , footwork , fadeaway , ect ... Lebron has physical abilities who will never be matched at his position ... at then end of the day it's the same result , both are great at what they can do then you pick the type of player you prefer ... it's like a Olajuwon vs Shaq thing ... I prefer one hundred time watching Hakeem playing on the low block than Shaq ... still doesn't mean than he was better than Shaq ... as I B-Ball fan I'm not impressed by Lebron "technical" skills , no footwork , no post-up game ... still he's a great all around player ..
