Do you think Amare Stoudemire will end upon the Lakers?

According to realgm and yahoo sports he's on the trading block (along with everyone except Steve Nash...which I don't get). But last year when Bynum went down we pulled off a miracle trade for an All-Star big...anyone think iron will strike twice?

are you serious? no way in hell the lakers will be trading for stoudamire. why would the lakers trade for anyone for that matter? the lakers have the best record in the league and have just came away with a huge win from boston, not only did they beat boston but they beat boston away from home and without bynum. this was a huge physcological break through for the lakers, the celtics mark my words will be hurt mentally from that defeat especially since the lakers have proved they can win big without bynum.

the lakers are sitting strong and seem to have good chemistry at the moement theres no way in hell id be tampering with that if i were a GM. In this case less is definatley more. the lakers might add a big guy to play that 10min spot but thats all they will be doing and thats all they need to do.

no chance of that happening. Odom for Amare is a ridiculous trade for the Suns lol. Im sure NIK will come in here and try to preach that Odom > Amare lol.  Not to mention, the Suns arent going to trade with a division rival unless it is REALLY benefiting them equally.  And yes, the Lakers need D before they need more offense.  Amare obviously will not bring any defense to a team lol

Yeah as much as I love watching Amare play, he has always been a bit of a black hole on defense.

More importantly than that though, I would never risk fucking up my team's chemistry for a move like this mid-season while we're still the best team in the league. We cannot afford to part with any of our core players right now. So unless it was like... Chris Mihm + Walton for Amare, we would be better off leaving Amare alone.

And as mentioned already, Suns aren't going to trade Amare to a division rival anyways.

Have you all seen Lamar Odom playing yesterday? He was been the "Man of the match", plus it looks like he has something to prove to KG & Co.
Trading him now, in the middle of the season, would be CRIMINAL.

That's nice. But being that Amare is consistent at NOT playing defense and yet still trying to be the man of his team, I think I'd try to go with the inconsistent one.

when you bring a dominate force & explosive player like Amare, his AVERAGE (STOP HATIN) defense would be more than enough.

i mean his presence alone would automatically bring a ring to LA.

but na, lets just keep thinking that Bynum's replacement > Amare. ::)
