sounds like Dre to me on the chorus
I've got my own personal opinions on how Detox SHOULD sound but that's just ideal. I'm not in any studio perfecting an instrument or constructing a beat so ...MOVE ON!If you know anything about Dr.Dre and his music you know 1. He doesn't write his lyrics (at least not since Chronic 2001)2. The comprehensive sound is focused on more than the lyrics. What exactly does 2 mean?Vocals are viewed as another tool, another level of sound to enhance the musicianship of a track. The lyrics T.I wrote fit for Dr.Dre and they're not anything worse than what was on Chronic 2001. Go back and listen to the record. He's never spit anything that would come out of the mouth of a rapper like Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Rakim, Immortal Technique, or Nas. Dre has always had direct lyrics. Finally, next to Suge and Tupac, who's helped the West Coast out as much? Even more so he's always attempted to be a universal cat. If you don't like, MOVE ON!one of the best posts ive seen in a while.CHUUCH!
