Are you serious? Do you really not know why people could possibly dislike 'Lil Wayne' ??  ::)

I dont understand it either, its like when Dipset were really big people hated on them, after everything happened every1 is lookin back and seein they were makin some classic joints, i think the same will happen with wayne, he made some great tracks last year(shoot me down bein 1)

Im lovin "So Fly" btw, keep up the good work  8)

Because he's popular. Simple as. That's how it works on the internet. Whatever is popular is hated, see when 50 Cent blew up, Dipset, T.I., Game...

You know what it is? He used to be dope, but he fell off amazingly hard over the last years. Only occasionally Lil Wayne drops a good verse, but he releases so many verses... the number of wack verses is uncountable.

500 Degreez was his last good album. Tha Carter had a few nice songs, but his last two releases were crap. Come on now, let's be real for a second. I'm surprised no one called the free post yet, lol.

Step my game up.....hah. I can BARLEY even call myself a Hip-Hop fan anymore...and groups like Dipset are the reason why. Im sure they have some good songs that i would like, but if i want to listen to commercial music i will put on some R&B. Rap is supposed to be real, and right now its the furthest away from real that it has ever been, in my opinion.

I fucc with some older east coast music, but once again, in my opinion, everything coming out these days is straight ASS.

In conclusion, i am a very difficult person to understand. I am 21 years old and i am still learning/trying to understand things about me that i do not know. Ask any artists i have worked with(hard to find those) - Ask my kindergarden teacher - I do not work well with others  ::) My ear for music is.....crazy. My friends actually compare me to Dr Dre a lot (Not in skill level), in the sense that i am a perfectionist. Beats i go over have to be very intricate, no b.s. loops. I released one album when i was 17, and have been working on my next project every since. Growing as an artist and a writer in the meantime. So i can kinda sorta relate to Dre in a way as i have pissed off a lot of fans, but i have never released a garbage CD  ;D. I release music for ME, because it makes ME feel good. I don't do it for fans. And to all the fans of mine that have proved loyal and are still interested, i always hook them up with free CDs of recent shit i have been working on. Its all love baby  :-*

Last thought - Maybe that's why Hip-Hop is so dead to me now? I feel like artists should make music for themselves, not in a cookie cutter format just to get album sales.
