Is it safe to say that Dr. Dre can't make "westcoast" beats anymore?

He is one of the damn founders of the "west coast" beat so of course he can.  He's evolved though and you just might not like his direction.  Dre has been in the game for like 20 years and he's expected to sound like his 90- 95 era for all of them?  I dunno.  I will always appreciate the classics, but I like to hear some changes as well.

Back when 2001 dropped, you had ninjaz going "It's alright, but it certainly ain't no Chronic, where's the G-funk? Where's the soul?"
When Detox drops, they will all say stuff like "It's nothing compared to the the G-funk on the Chronic or the thumping classic Westcoast sound on 2001"

They should just make an official "Internet Complainers' Guy To Westcoast Beats" so Dr. Dre has a guideline of how his music SHOULD sound in order to maintain his credibility with people who post on his threads talking about how "they are OFFICIALLY done with Detox" every other week.
