Who writes doper lyrics Ice Cube or The DOC ????

I say Cube . For example ,  "3 Strikes You In" ..Cube parallels a baseball game and felonies with perfection. Who else could do that ?

DOC...No one can do it better has some ahead of it's time lyricism, plus he's written a ton of stuff for other artists we don't know about.  Cube is tight, but I think that the DOC is more advanced.  I never heard of DOC using a ghostwriter....he does the ghostwriting:)

It is hard.  Sadly too much of the DOC's work is uncredited. You can hear his influence or read about a few songs, but sadly I don't think we'll ever know the extent of his work which I believe is actually huge.  I think that he had his hand in a lot off classics credited to other rappers, like cube, snoop, dre..and lots of others.

DOC's lyrics on "No One Can Do It Better" are dope. But u gotta remember that Ice Cube in 88-92 (or 88-96 actually) was something crazy.

So if u only count own lyrics. It's Ice Cube. And if you count ghostwrited lyrics its probably DOC.
