Andrew Bynum: March 30 Return Possible

Update: The Orange County Register reports that Bynaum (knee) may return to the Lakers’ lineup by March 30.

Recommendation: Coach Phil Jackson said that Bynum will return to help the team in the last month of the season. It appears as if his knee injury is progressing very well.

garbage medical staff? LOL...since when did you become such a hater? Lakers are working with one of the better medical staffs in the league. if our players get injured all the time, how does that fall on the hands of the medical staff? our only major injury we got this year was Farmar, and he returned much sooner than expected...our other major one, Bynum, is on schedule to return weeks ahead of time. we got gary vitti, best in the business, muffucka. no one talks shit on vitti...no one.

Heh, quite frankly I would prefer if the medical team didn't get anyone's hopes up so the team can actually prepare for the worst.

I know they said the injury isn't as bad as last year, but I don't care anymore. Last year, the only issue we had came in the Finals because we had no answer to the big man physicality. None our backups were ready by then because we had assumed Bynum was coming back the entire time.

Mbenga is actually getting playing time now, which is good because we need him to get as much experience in the triangle as possible. He is the substitute bruiser big man and there will be certain teams we're going to need to use him against.

he still missed a considerable amount of time for the 2nd straight season, even if he comes back sooner then expected he is still considered injury prone until proven otherwise.  Plenty of athletes that are injury prone come back early from injuries.  That doesn't mean they aren't injury prone.  And correct me if I am wrong in an adult manner but didn't Bynum have a major issue with his knee in high school.  Again I could be wrong or mixing him up with someone else, and if I am wrong please correct me but in an adult manner.  If thats not the case though I personally think Bynum's situation is that he is still growing into his body.  But until he can prove he can stay healthy an entire season for a couple of seasons he is labeled injury prone.

What do you mean like who? Has the Boston series been completely wiped from your memory?

It wasn't just Boston either, there were teams that just hurt us badly with physical gameplay last year during the regular season, such as Mavs with garbage-ass Dampier. Mbenga is a good powerful defender. I know there's not a lot of teams that can beat us with physicality alone, but every now and then we will come across one. There's a reason Lakers have kept Mbenga around this long, and it sure as fuck wasn't for his skill set.

i know we have had problems in the past with physicality however,

aside from the last game where he hit a couple of lucky shots....he's an offensive liability. that's why i say the only time you'll see him out on the floor is when we've got a comfortable lead. even then he's a liability,lol memphis got right back into the game in the 4th remember
