These wins include Boston, Orlando twice, and Denver (Chauncey's emotional return to Detroit).

Gotta say, this looks horrible for Iverson. He has such a hardworking attitude, but he can't help naturally being a cancer because of his playing style.

Iverson needs to play on a team where he is the guy.

he makes the plays, he controls the ball.

Detriot just isnt a good fit for him.

tempo2

surround iverson with 4 hard working defensive players and then he has a shot at a title like he did that year with philly. thats the only way to utilise iversons skills.

LOL wrong!

AI is top 10-15 all time.

give AI a team where he is the centerpiece & he would play better.

OK he is better than Vince as far as their careers go, that was a stretch on my part but there is no doubt that Carter has been way better this entire year than AI.  Also Iverson a top 10-15 player of all time??  I couldn't disagree more, there is no way he deserves to be rated that high among the all time greats, the guy has always been a loser besides 1 year.  All you have to do is look at Pistons and Nuggets this year to get proof of that, Reggie Miller deserves to be mentioned as a top 10-15 player ever way before AI does.

I'm not hating I just disagree. As far as effort goes he might be #1 all time and you have to admire that but I just cant believe that this guy would ever be mentioned as one of the best player of all time, it seems kind of absurd to me.

nah dude. im not callin you out as a hater im just sayin....the stats alone cement his status as a great one, imo. he's in the same class as barkley,malone,miller..great players that have never been in the right spot with the surrounding talent to accomplish the ultimate goal,a ring.

Ok when it's put that way I definitely see what you are saying, I have always felt that was the case w/ Reggie

I agree that he is one of the best to ever do it, stats and career accomplishments alone (ring or not).

I think it's such a shame that he needs a specifically built team of defensive-minded role players (like Larry Brown's 76ers) for him to truly succeed, because there are so few teams that are like that nowadays. We'll probably never see Iverson in the Finals again unless he joins a team as a ring-chaser.

iverson is an all-time great.  top 5 shooting guard ever.

problem is he tried to be a PG :D
